The standard unit of measurement for calculating the price of a translation is the word of source text. For the overwhelming majority of language combinations the number of words in the source and target texts will not differ by more than 10%.

Prices given in our estimates will be per word, excluding any VAT or other applicable taxes/duties, and may vary depending on the source language, the degree of technical difficulty, the type of text (documentation or software) and the delivery time required.
In view of our fixed costs a minimum charge of €30.00 net will apply to each job.

In the case of orders which require particularly close deadlines we are obliged to apply a corresponding Urgent Work supplement, which will range from 30% to 50%, depending on the case.
We should be grateful for written confirmation of all jobs; this may be sent by e-mail or fax.
Finished work will be returned by e-mail or by file transfer at a reserved section of the website www.aglatech.com. Other arrangements for returning work will need express instructions from the customer, and may attract a supplement.

In the case of jobs where it is not practicable to reckon by the word (for instance, for revision consultancy, proofreading, updating already-translated documentation or DTP services, we calculate on a skilled-rate hourly basis. Given the great variety in the activities involved, it is not possible to set out a standard tariff; please get in touch, and we shall be happy to quote for each individual job.
